Wearables (a.k.a. Wearable Computers, or "Body-Borne Computers" according to Wikipedia) are Internet devices that people wear on some aspect of their bodies. Recently, wearables have fallen off in popularity due to questions about how necessary they are in daily life (refer to Fitbit satire post here).
Common forms of wearables include: watches, wristbands, eyeglasses/headwear, and articles of clothing (including shoes).
